TRACKING RESTORATIVE

INTERVENTIONS - SUPPORTING

STUDENTS WITH AGREEMENTS

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

Immanuel Primary School is 18 months into the Restorative Practice journey. One of the first things they knew they needed to address was the way in which they tracked student behaviour.  In this workshop, Lisa Carey (Student Counsellor) and Jodie Fraser (Wellbeing Coordinator) will share the journey their school took with developing a tracking system for restorative intervention.

A system that:

  • is easy to use for all staff

  • enables them to identify students that may need support

  • gives us helpful information about broader issues that may need addressing

They will share how this tracking system enables them to be proactive about supporting students with agreements, how they communicate agreements with staff so everyone is aware and also how they communicate agreements with the parents of those students involved.

They will also share the approaches their school uses to support students with developing and maintaining positive relationships.
